Roll Screen Windows
For insect and flyscreens. Custom manufactured with PVC-coated fibreglass mesh and designed to form an integral part of the existing window/opening. There when you need it, gone when you don’t.
Manually operated with a control bar/handle. Simply grab the bar and pull it up or down. The insect screen has sliding tracks that ensure a smooth operation on either side of the existing window. When not in use, it’s conveniently stowed away in the tube casing.
Vertical or horizontal installation on all types of frames (wood, steel or aluminium).
Can be installed over burglar bars provided channelling/spacers are installed first. Manufactured in our five standard colours (can be matched according to window/door colours).
The tube cassette section protrudes 45mm. Sliding tracks are 25mm and are installed on either side of the existing window.
Roll Screen Doors
For insect and flyscreens. Custom manufactured with PVC-coated fibreglass mesh and designed to form an integral part of the existing door/opening. Conveniently stowing away when not in use.
Manually operated with a control bar/handle. Simply grab and pull it open or closed. The insect screen has sliding tracks that ensure a smooth operation which are installed on the floor and on the top frame of the door.
Can be installed on existing doors with retractable security doors either by installing directly onto the existing frame or onto the existing retractable door. Installation can also be done onto existing security gates.
The tube cassette section protrudes 45mm. Sliding tracks stand 25mm proud, and are installed on the floor and top frame. To fit on door openings of a maximum width of 1000mm.
Sash Type Screen
For insect and flyscreens. Custom manufactured with PVC-coated fibreglass mesh and for pet screens. Manufactured with powder-coated stainless steel. Custom-made horizontal & vertical sash screens are designed specifically for installation on existing steel frames – but can be installed on wood and aluminium frames.
The outer frame stands 45mm proud.
Solid Hinged Screens
Custom-made in light and medium weight applications and has a rigid frame for strength.
The screen is fitted with bullet hinges on one side where a minimum frame width of 33mm is required.
A magnetised lock mechanism secures the screen onto the existing frame.
The outer frame stands 25mm proud of the existing door frame.
Solid Slider Screens
Custom-made or light and medium weight applications and has a rigid frame with two mid-rails for strength.
The screen is fitted with bullet hinges on one side where a minimum frame width of 33mm is required.
A magnetised lock mechanism secures the screen onto the existing door frame.
The outer frame stands 25mm proud of the existing door frame.
Solid Slider Window Screen
Custom-made and forms an integral part of existing sliding windows. The screens can be installed on the inside or outside of an existing frame.
Specifically designed with a rigid frame complete with headrails and bottom tracks.
Aluminium sliding windows (single openers) run on patio rollers in the bottom track.
Solid Slider Door Screen
Custom-made and forms an integral part of sliding doors.
The screens can be installed on the inside or outside of an existing frame and are available in single or double doors. Specifically designed with a rigid frame complete with headrails and bottom tracks.
Aluminium sliding doors (double and single openers) run on patio rollers in the bottom track.
Pet Screens
While pet screens double as insect screens, only one will stop your pets from getting out. If you plan to pet-proof your windows, you will need to understand what makes pet mesh and pet screens different from insect screens.
What is pet mesh?
All the screens in our flyscreen supreme range (apart from the roller screens) are available in pet mesh. We recommend pet mesh to clients who want to stop their pets from leaving the house but keep their windows open.
Compared to flyscreen mesh, pet mesh is robust and resists clawing and scratching whereas insect mesh is no match for a determined dog or cat who wants to get out.
Our pet mesh consists of woven strands of stainless steel and is powder coated. The frames are made from high-grade aluminium. The mesh is intricately woven so it stops flies, mosquitos and other pests such as dogs, cats, monkeys, birds, snakes, spiders and lizards from getting into your home. And it will not obstruct your view.
The distinct types of pet screens
Pet mesh is available with these applications:
- Sash screen pet screen
A sash screen consists of two panels; one fixed and another that slides up and down. The pet mesh stretches taut across both panels. Together with the frame, they create a seal in front of the opening.
Sash screens are only suitable for windows, not doors. And while they are best for steel windows, you can install them on wooden and aluminium windows, The sash-screen operates either up and down or left to right. How the screen opens depends on the location of the window handle.
- Solid-hinged pet screen
In this application, we stretch the mesh across a rigid aluminium frame. Bullet hinges fix one side of the screen to your window or door allowing the screen door to swing into the room. When it closes, a magnetic lock secures the screen to your window frame.
This application is suitable for both doors and windows. Extra mid-rails give extra stability to the frames of solid-hinged door screens.
- Solid-slider pet screen
To make a solid slider pet screen, we stretch the pet mesh over an aluminium frame, But, like the sliding glass door, it runs on patio rollers in a track fixed to the floor. The design is suitable for both doors and windows.

Baboon-proof
Please note, petscreens are not ‘baboon-proof’. They are applicable when trying to keep insects out and domestic animals in or out. Where a ‘baboon-proof’ application is required, the only option is security screens and it must be stressed that even then, baboons are known to be incredibly destructive , so although a deterrent, we cannot guarantee that a baboon will not be able to get through a security screen.
